Mission Statement
It is our mission to create a fun, educational, and compassionate dental experience in which we treat each child as if they were our own.

Philosophy

It is our philosophy to closely work with families as partners to provide the best oral heath care experience and outcome. We believe prevention is the best medicine and strive to educate families on how to optimize their oral health.
If a dental issue arises, we will address parental concerns, explain all possible treatment options, decide in partnership the best treatment, and discuss how it can be prevented in the future. It is our goal to provide safe treatment, quality treatment and to give families the best experience possible.
Our practice is founded on honesty, integrity, and compassion. We treat each child as if they were our own.

What to expect

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend that your children visit the dentist by their 1st birthday. As your child enters our kid-friendly office, he or she will be introduced to our wonderful dental team. During the initial visit, our staff and doctors will review your child’s medical history, address any special concerns or questions you have, and help educate parents and children about oral health. The goal of the first dental visit is to:

  1. Review oral health and educate the parents to help prevent dental problems, and
  2. to give the child a fun and interactive dental experience so they understand what a dental appointment is like. We enjoy treating all children and want them to have a fun, exciting, and educational experience.

We encourage you to tell your child about their “First Dental Visit”. We recommend reading books that will help explain to your child what he or she should expect at their first dental visit. Please tell them that it will be fun and exciting. We ask that you please refrain from using words like “shot”, “needle”, “drill”, or “pull”. Our staff is highly trained to use words that convey the same meaning, but are less intimidating to your child. We appreciate your help in making your child’s dental visit a very positive one.

We invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination. We highly encourage parental participation. It is your decision to accompany your child when YOU think he or she is ready to experience the dental appointment by themselves.

For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.
